In Fear is a 2013 British horror film released November 15th. It is a low-budget and was Jeremy Lovering's first time directing a film. This film stars Iain De Caestecker as Tom, Alice Englert as Lucy and Allen Leech as Max; they re not well known actors but the director believes starring in In Fear will open doors for them. Lovering only received a budget due to his willingness to experiment with making a film without a script. He also refused to tell the actors the ending to the film to ensure that he received genuine reactions from them. The production company behind the film are Big Talk Productions which has produced a lot of TV series and some films that didn't get a lot of attention. They have also produced some films starring Simon Pegg and Nick Frost such as Paul, Hot Fuzz and Shaun of the Dead. In the UK, Big Talk Companies is very established in The owner of this company is Nira Park who was a producer of In Fear alongside James Biddle. Right now the film hasn't won any awards but has been labelled 'Britain's scariest horror film'. It has been shown at the Sundance Film Festival in January 2013 and has been distributed globally by Studio Canal. The cameras used for this film were the Canon 7D and Arri Alexa. It is being shown at Vue, Cineworld and Odeon cinemas, however, it is only shown once a day and at only 8 of each cinemas.
