Thor 2 released on 30th October 2013 is proving to be the tent pole movie gaining over £8 million in its first release. There has been major marketing throughout the world where posters are advertised in differents parts of the world including America, the UK, France and China. This sequel has been advertised more in the UK than America because the movie was mainly shot in England with the premier being hosted at the Odeon Leiscester Square giving it more publicity even with the stars such as Chris Hemsworth as Thor and Natalie Portman as Jane not forgetting Loki, played by Tom Hiddleston. Fans all over the world help to spread the word about this new hit movie through social media sites and word of mouth plus millions has been spent on advertisements, merchandise and different ways to exhibit the film.
